Organic is a term that emcompasses a wide variety of topics, but centers around the main idea of living as close to nature as possible. The big ideas around organic living are using products and services that reduce pollution and give off as little harmful waste as possible, and are thus as friendly to the environment as possible. Some basic organic living methods include food, farming, clothing, and gardening.
Organic Foods[]
Organic foods are produced according to certain production standards, meaning they are grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. Livestock are raised without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones. In most countries, organic produce must not be genetically modified.
Organic Farming[]
Organic farming is a form of agriculture that relies on crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation to keep soil healthy and control pests, getting rid of or limiting the use of synthetic fertilizers and synthetic pesticides, genetically modified organisms.
Organic Clothing[]
Organic clothing is clothing that is made from materials that are raised or grown without the use of chemicals in the form of pesticides, herbicides or other chemicals. Authentic organic fabrics and clothing can help the environment in a number of ways, such as: the manufacture of chemicals is not required, chemical residues are not entered accidentally into the environment, humans and animals are not exposed to chemicals, and when the fabric is finished with, chemicals are not returned to the earth in landfill, or enter into recycling process. Today one of the most popular of organic clothings is farmed from the popular Cannabis Genus and is known as hemp. Hemp is known for its extreme durability having a tensile strength of about three times as much as cotton or other fabric resources.
Organic Gardening[]
Organic gardening is the practice of growing fruits, vegetables, flowers, or ornamental plants by following the principles of organic agriculture in soil conservation and pest control but on a smaller scale suited to a home or community garden. But why farm go buy lOlSz xD
